La Rocca Agriturismo, Orvieto

Here we are at La Rocca Agriturismo, near Orvieto. This was our home for a couple of days -- a pleasant R&R until we headed into Rome! The owners at La Rocca have really spruced up their operation. When I think of an agriturismo, I think of a family farm that is pretty hard core farming. But the people at La Rocca have a nice business going -- and have tailored it to the tourists. They have a winery, restaurant, room/hotel -- and probably more. I think they are expanding. And because their place is located kind of out of nowhere, I think their rates are low(er)... The place was clean, spacious, and the hosts were great. I would recommend it.
