Day trip into Orvieto

We had the option of daytripping into Orvieto or staying in at La Rocca and just chilling by the pool. My mom and I decided to go into Orvieto for the day and were pleasantly surprised. Orvieto is built on tufa, a stone of calcium carbonate. While we were there, we encountered a wedding at the church below and great views of the Umbrian valley.
