Italy - in 2 weeks or so...

I've been so busy with work and school that I haven't had too much time to plan the daily itinerary. We have changed the number of days in Siena (from 5 nights to 2, so we can sleep 3 nights in Venice). For some reason, I really want to re-visit Venice, even though I have been there twice (on very short visits in 2000). I also think that after time in Campania, Umbria, and Toscana that I will be ready for the hustle and bustle of Venezia. In any case, we depart for Italy on New Year's Eve and arrive in Rome on New Year's Day. So here is our rough schedule:
January 1-7: Sant'Agnello (town near Sorrento) - Apartment rental
January 7-11: Perugia - Hotel Fortuna
January 11-13: Siena - Albergo Cannon d'Oro www.cannondoro.com
January 13-16: Venice - Hotel Orion www.hotelorion.it
January 16-18: Milan - Hotel Aspromonte
January 18: Depart for home...

(Most hotels booked through Venere.com, other than Cannon d'Oro, which ended up being cheaper to book directly with the hotel. However, I think booking directly means that we will NOT be served the typical Italian breakfast, which is fine by me. The total savings: 18 euro/night. I am sure we can have a huge breakfast for 18 euros.)
