Ok, still going to Italy but instead of going to the intended locales - we're going South!
Here is a sample of where I'd like to go:
The regions of Campania, Basilicata, Calabria and Apulia. In Campania, there is so much to experience: Naples, Hercalaneum, Amalfi Coast, and Pompei. I want to visit the trulli of Apulia and the town of Lecce. Hopefully we will have time to check out the sassi in Matera.
